Huawei sub-brand Honor on Tuesday launched its latest smartphone, Honor 9N in India. The smartphone starts at ₹11,999 for the base 3GB/32GB variant. The Honor 9N will go on sale from July 31 at 12 pm exclusively on Flipkart.
Design and Specifications:
The phone is wrapped in glass on the front and back with a metal railing sandwiched in between. On the back, the phone has 12 layers of premium glass with nano coating. On the front, the Honor 9N features a 5.84-inch full HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 2280×1080. The phone weighs 152 g.
Powering the device is Huawei’s octa-core Kirin 659 SoC, coupled with 3GB or 4GB RAM and a choice between 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. It runs Android Oreo 8.0 with EMUI running on top. An upcoming update will add ‘GPU Turbo’ feature which enhances your gaming experience.
Honor has equipped the 9N with a dual-camera setup on the back with a 13-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. The shooters come equipped with PDAF and a portrait mode with hardware-level blur effects. For selfies, you will get a 16-megapixel snapper with AI features. On the software front, the smartphone boots the EMUI 8.0 interface based on Android 8.0 Oreo. For power requirements, the Honor 9N relies on a 3,000mAh battery.
Honor is offering the 9N in Lavender Purple, Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black and Robin Egg Blue colours. The smartphone will go on sale in India starting July 31st on Flipkart and Honor online store. As for pricing, the 3GB variant will set you back by Rs 11,999, 4GB model will retail for Rs 13,999 and the 6GB unit comes with a sticker price of Rs 17,999. As part of the launch offer, the Honor 9N will come with Rs 2,200 cashback from Reliance Jio and 100GB additional data from the telecom operator.
